My Artist Manifesto

I am committed to creating/expressing my art in any shape and form I choose. I will be loyal to me, my values, not just as an artist but as human, to choose kindness and empathy for those I believe deserve it. I am here not because of monetary gain, I would create art even if there's no monetary incentive. I will choose to support those who need it the most.

I will not stand or fear the people that try to antagonize my life for being who I am, I will not betray my morals for validation or “connections” to any industry. I create for me and express it for others.

As long as I am alive I will keep on improving my art anyway I know how, and for all that I love I will see change in a positive way towards my goals and aspirations. I will help cultivate a community of fellow artists that make them feel validated in their expression and bring good things to others.

I am not here to hate or bring anything negative towards anyone, and if there's a case I ever do intentionally or not intentionally, I will not stand for my behavior and I promise to take action to fix and make amends for any wrongful behaviour. I will continue to change and morph to become better at what I love and not love.

I am a child of immigrants. I am queer. I am creative. I am loved. I am proud.

I will continue because that is all I can do.
